on Saturday, February 11th!

In December, the Sisterhood Gardens Committee underwent a selection process to determine the 2017 cohort of community gardeners. You can view the roster HERE.  Due to high demand, we do have a wait list and we would appreciate your help in building more garden plots.

First Workshop October 29th: Seed Saving and Companion Planting

Screen Shot 2016-10-20 at 1.46.08 PMPresented by Fog City Gardener

Learn about the basics of saving your own vegetable seeds from year to year. Also learn about the science behind the popular technique of companion planting. Companion plants are those that improve the growth of others by attracting beneficial insects, repelling pests, or providing nutrients, shade, or support. Learn which plant companion recommendations are proven and which are merely folklore. Used wisely, companion planting can be an effective part of an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) plan for your home vegetable garden.
